Writer-talk.com attempts to establish a framework for talking about the kind of writing performed for academic assessment or publication. No two writers share exactly the same process, but it makes sense that there are some things that all good writers do. Writer-talk.com organises its conversation around three areas of concern when writing:

  • the processes involved in the production of the paper,
  • the many aspects of any given writing situation and
  • some meta-strategies for identifying what’s working and what’s not working in one’s process and understanding of their situation and for the identification and development of strategies for overcoming obstacles to success.
